Charity Manager

Adam Law - Adam joined BSEF in 2013 and having been involved in all areas of the organisation, was appointed Charity Manager in early 2016. As a keen sportsman, Adam understands the benefits that sport can offer and is passionate about providing young people across the Midlands with the opportunity to be regularly active and delivering hard-hitting projects that address the social issues that are prevalent in the area.
Finance and Office Manager

Mel Needle - Mel looks after our finances on a day-to-day basis, issues all invoices and generally ensures that BSEF runs smoothly. Mel also runs our office and is responsible for all administrative functions.
Head Coach

Paul Douglas (Dougie) – A Level 3 Basketball Coach and Accredited England Basketball Tutor
Coach Douglas has a star-studded history in English and European Basketball. He has competed at the highest level both as a player, representing his country and as a coach, previously as Head Coach of the Birmingham Knights and the current Head Coach of the University Of Birmingham Men’s Team.
As our Head Coach and a key member of the BSEF team, Dougie utilises his extensive experience to deliver incredibly high quality coaching sessions to young people of all ages, mentoring them to perform to the best of their ability in all areas of their lives. Dougie also provides advice and support for our team of coaches to ensure that their delivery reaches the same high standards. His expertise in the world of basketball is vital to the development of BSEF’s delivery programme and we are extremely fortunate to have a coach and mentor of the calibre of Coach Douglas.
